What is TAC Club Rewards 2025?
The TAC Club Rewards Program 2025 is a Victorian initiative that gives local footy and netball clubs a way to make a real impact — and get rewarded for it.
By taking part in simple road safety activities, your club can earn up to $10,000 in funding from a total pool of $700,000, thanks to a partnership between the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and AFL Victoria.
Who Is It For?
Open to AFL Victoria-aligned football and netball clubs, both in metro and regional Victoria
Supports clubs , as part of a long-standing partnership to reduce road trauma on our roads
What’s the Focus This Year?
The 2025 program focuses on addressing speeding, which contributes to about 30% of fatal and 25% of serious injury crashes on Victorian roads
The theme “Be the Difference” encourages clubs, players, volunteers, and families to lead by example by slowing down on the roads
How It Works

Clubs Register via the SmartyGrants portal (applications opened 3 June – 25 August 2025)

Complete At Least Two Key Activities:

Champion road safety within the club (training, socials).

Engage the community (e.g. using the “Slo‑Mo” social media initiative).

Participate in Road Safety Round (21–27 July 2025) with blue armbands.

Promote and collect Road Safety Survey responses

Submit Evidence (photos, posts, videos) via the acquittal form

Clubs are Assessed against program criteria by a panel from TAC and AFL Victoria

Funding is Awarded in 2025
