Why I do this?

​Hi, my names Shane, the founder of Safe Roads For Us. 

I was in the prime of my youth when on a fateful day I was involved in a car crash.

Though I escaped with minor injuries, another human being lost his life.

I cannot ever imagine the pain I caused to that family. This event changed everything for me, my family and loved ones. 

Since the incident, I have been passionate about making  a difference by speaking and sharing my story to help others make better choices for over a decade.

The starting point was speaking with youth, volunteering for a Non-for Profit and facilitating awareness programs.

Through the years one thing that we have seen is that personal stories work (this is backed by numerous studies)  

I am on a mission so that you or your children never have to go through this - let's do this together. 

Most probably you think your kids may not end up there, which I sincerely hope. I don't think anyone's parents including mine, ever thought it would happen.
