This is a high-impact, story-first talk delivered by Shane Jay (Safe Roads For Us), built around lived experience and two simple frameworks students can use immediately: DARE (Moment of Choice): Detect the Dare → Ask the real question → Run the Ripple → Exit Early MARKER (Resilience System): Move → Ask → Read/Learn → Keep circle right → Exercise skill → Reflect Students leave with practical “in-the-moment” lines, decision tools, and a resilience system they can apply across uni life, friendships, parties, pressure moments, and road safety. Best for: Orientation Week, student wellbeing, leadership groups, clubs, and youth cohorts.
